Get Healthy and balanced in 10,000 Steps

Everybody wants to be as healthy as possible but not everybody has the time to do the required amount of exercise to get there. This is why some health specialists are advocating the ten thousand step method. The plan is that you take at least ten thousand steps each day (walking) which can help you get very healthy and cut down on the time that is required for exercise. Walking can be excellent exercise and very low impact. How often have you over heard a doctor say "just a single walk around the block helps your health"? Choosing public transit is great because it includes a walk to and from a bus or train stop which is fantastic for increasing your step count. Obviously, simply just getting a short walk each day is also a good idea.

Some less obvious methods to increase your step count are also available. Order your current grocery list in a different way. Plenty of individuals organize lists by the aisles in their preferred stores. You may decide to order your list based on category including meat, product and dairy. Simply look down the list from here. You could find yourself criss crossing the store several times but it's a wonderful way to increase your step count. Instead of having a mail box as part of your door or attached to the house, mount it on a post close to the curb. This can add at least a couple of dozen steps to your count on a daily basis as you walk from the door to the box and back.

There are plenty of ways to take more steps on a daily basis. As you become familiar with the idea of walking 10,000 steps a day you'll think of fantastic ways to get to this goal faster.
